Coast to Coast with Royalty: How Vice City District Crossed the Country with DeLorean and Bugatti

When we rolled out of Miami at dawn, we weren't just chasing the horizon—we were carrying automotive lineage across 2,500 miles of American blacktop. Vice City District teamed up with Supercar Showdown and DameGood Lifestyle’s Carl Bernard Frances ("The Dark Buddha") for an ambitious transcontinental run to Las Vegas. Flanking our convoy were two women whose family names define car culture: Kat DeLorean, daughter of visionary maverick John Z. DeLorean, and Caroline Bugatti, carrying the torch of Ettore Bugatti’s unmatched legacy.

Two iconic bloodlines, our Miami crew, and an open westbound lane.

Red Dirt, Spray Cans, and the Open Road

Leaving South Florida behind, the convoy carved north through Atlanta and the winding cuts of Tennessee before stretching our legs across the wide-open Texas panhandle. Long-distance rallying has a way of stripping away the pretension of exotic cars; at every fuel stop, crowds gathered not just to stare at body lines, but to talk shop, swap stories, and share the culture.

Outside Amarillo, we brought the machines to a halt at Cadillac Ranch. Standing before the ten graffiti-coated relics buried nose-down in the dirt, we popped the caps on fresh spray cans. Leaving our own mark on Route 66 alongside Kat and Caroline was a raw, spontaneous collision of modern horsepower and American roadside myth.

Midnight on the Crest of Hoover Dam

The run peaked just shy of the Nevada border. Through canyon passes and desert chill, we pulled off an automotive first: private access to park the entire convoy directly atop the crest of the Hoover Dam at midnight.

With headlights cutting through the pitch-black desert and engine blocks cooling against monumental Art Deco concrete, we staged a private dinner right on the roadway. Dining on the crest between Arizona and Nevada—surrounded by modern carbon fiber and one of the greatest engineering feats of the 20th century—is something none of us will forget.

Vegas Neon and the Paddock Finish

Descending into the Las Vegas valley, the rally hit its fever pitch right as the city braced for the inaugural Las Vegas Grand Prix. We parked the road grime at the gates and stepped directly into the Scuderia AlphaTauri paddock, joining F1 drivers Daniel Ricciardo and Yuki Tsunoda to wrap the run.

From our home turf in Vice City to the neon-lit asphalt of the Strip, this wasn't just another supercar rally. It was about honoring history, testing machine endurance, and proving that real car culture lives out on the open road.
